Tartan and Kilts
Tartan has been used since the 19th century to represent Scottish clans, families, or institutions. Find out if your family has a tartan or design you own and recreate it using coloured pencils, strips of paper, paint or ribbon. Then make a mini kilt out of your
tartan, and don’t forget the sporran (that’s the little purse-like thing that you wear at the front of your kilt)!
